When we first got there, you couldn’t even walk in her basement because it was just box after box and piles of Halloween stuff. Seriously, this lady had everything and anything Halloween that you could ever imagine. More than anything else, she had the entire collection of these Halloween like Villages, called Department 56. Here’s a picture of just a few of them, but she really owns every piece to the set, which is easily over 60 pieces. There are houses, people, everything, it’s like a little shrunken town.

She also had every costume imaginable; so, I did end up leaving her house with an awesome Cleopatra costume, accessories, wig, and fake lashes. Oh yeah! At least I scored something out of being over there for more than 4 hours. Yep, more than 4 hours organizing and getting rid of the stuff, and we didn’t even get all of sorted through. Oh, and another thing, she is so obsessed with Halloween that she was even married on Halloween, and for her wedding it was a masquerade ball, and everyone, including herself, got to wear these elaborately decorated masquerade masks (which are now hanging on all of the walls in her bedroom.) Yeah, it’s a little weird, but hey, I think it’s a very creative, fun idea for a wedding.
I ended up leaving that strange lady’s house on Friday with the knowledge that Lyn is obsessed with Halloween, the Wicked Witch off of the “Wizard of Oz”, and black cats. (So, she is totally more obsessed than Kylee is with Twilight. There is hope for Kylee yet. J.K. Kylee) Kylee yet.) (J.K. Kylee)
